asteroid, official name

An asteroid’s official Federation name is the name of its sun, followed by two numbers.  The first number is a code, 00, to show it’s an asteroid, not a planet.  The second number is found by counting the asteroids out from the sun.  Our Sun is Sol.  Eros, the nearest asteroid to it, is Sol 00-01.  The unnecessary zeros are usually missed out, so Eros is Sol 0-1.
