bank of jets

A bank of jets is about a metre square and eight centimetres thick, with a honeycomb of holes, holding jets.
When it’s switched on, air rushes down through the jets, making the bank of jets rise into the air.

Banks of jets are used in scooters and pegasuses.

I helped to make a bank of jets during my visit to the Zejets works on Obegon 4.  See Report H.
