control room

A Federation control room is about five metres square, with grey walls and floor, and a glowing ceiling.  A U of grey seats faces the big screen of Victor’s terminal.  The bottom of the U, the command chair, has padded arms.  The sides of the U are settees big enough to take two (or three if they squeeze up).  There’s standing room round the sides.

A module contains a room like this.  It’s the control room when the module is used as a ship.  When the module is used as a base, this room is the commander’s office.
