A Federation uniform looks like a pale grey tracksuit, with coloured bands round the chest and cuffs.  Scientists say it’s cool in hot places, warm in cold places, comfortable when wet, and quick-drying.  It’s not as good as that, but it’s better than any fabric I’ve seen on Earth.

The colours of the bands show the agent’s job:
Administrators : purple.
Investigators : pale green.
Negotiators : red.
Pilots : pale blue.
Scientists : white.
Troubleshooters : dark green.
headquarters commander : black.

Trainee agents’ uniforms have a grey chestband outlined with narrow black lines.

The chestband has the agent’s name and rank – in his own language at the right, and in Federation symbols at the left.

I told Geli how to put on a uniform.  See Report D
